Some thoughts on illegal aliens from a couple of prominent Americans:

Theodore Roosevelt wrote: "In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes
an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage
to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming
in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here."
Alexander Hamilton opposed granting citizenship immediately to new immigrants: "To admit foreigners indiscriminately to
the rights of citizens, the moment they foot in our country would be nothing less than to admit the Grecian horse into the
citadel of our liberty and sovereignty." Instead, he recommended that we gradually draw newcomers into American life, "to
enable aliens to get rid of foreign and acquire American attachments; to learn the principles and imbibe the spirit of our
government; and to admit of a philosophy, at least, of their feeling a real interest in our affairs."
One of the facts of American history seldom discussed is the nation's long-standing preference for immigrant labor, when the
alternative was to train and employ native-born black Americans. Historically, blacks have been regarded as a residual labor
pool and were drawn into the urban, industrial economy only when the preferred immigrant supply was not available. As a consequence,
spokesmen for black Americans historically opposed mass immigration.
THINGS TO REMEMBER WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTION APPROACHING:
"The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special
talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that
end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can't get and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out
of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is
a broker in pillage, and every election is sort of an advance auction sale of stolen goods."[H. L. Mencken]
"Our nation has made this commitment: Anyone who targets a child for harm will be a primary target of law enforcement.
That's our commitment. Anyone who takes the life or innocence of a child will be punished to the full extent of the law."
President George W. Bush, October 23, 2002
HANOI JANE

Pelosi and Lantos are behaving as if they represent the People's Republic of San Francisco rather than two congressional districts
in the United States of America.
The Logan Act -- which became law in 1798 -- forbids any American "WITHOUT AUTHORITY OF THE UNITED STATES,"
to communicate with a foreign government with the intent of influencing that government's actions in any "DISPUTES OR
CONTROVERSIES WITH THE UNITED STATES."
Pelosi, Lantos, Henry Waxman, and four other Congressmen should not have gone to Syria against the wishes of the Administration.
And if Pelosi and Lantos go to Iran, they will do even more damage to American foreign policy; and they'll keep doing
it, again and again and again.
1.For strictly political reasons, they have delayed funds for essential supplies, equipment and weaponry, thereby leaving
our sons and daughters in uniform exposed to deadly attacks by hate-driven Islamo-fascists.
2.They have usurped the President's Constitutional role as Commander-in-Chief by passing legislation mandating a withdrawal
of American forces from Iraq by April 1, 2008. President Bush was right to VETO this legislation on Tuesday night. Not only
did it provide the terrorists with a date-certain of when we plan to leave the battlefield, it also included tens of billions
of dollars in pork barrel spending that had nothing to do with the war.
3.They have told al-Qaeda they have won the war! "Just hang on until April 1," Reid and Pelosi are saying,
"and the Democratic Party will hand you control of the entire Middle East on a silver platter. Oh yes, and when you
hit us with more 9/11s -- and you surely will -- we'll blame your attacks on George Bush! A win/win proposition for both
of us!"

Clinton Promises to End War, Feed Hungry, Clothe Naked, Save Mankind if Elected
Clinton to end war
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) tells the annual meeting of the Society of Moonbats that she would end the war she voted
to start.
WASHINGTON : Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she would not have attacked Iraq if she were president in 2002
and would end the war if elected, as she tried to blunt rivals like John Edwards who are stoking anti-war passions in the
Democratic Party.
And let me add one other thing, and I want to be very clear about this, she said. If I had been president in October of
2002, I would not have started this war.
Clinton said her vote to authorize use of force against Iraq have been taken out of context.
I thought we were ordering pizza, Clinton said in a speech to the Democratic National Committee meeting that brought the
party and nine White House hopefuls together for the first time. And I thought I checked pepperoni, mushrooms, and extra cheese,
but instead was voting to go to war. It was an honest mistake, and I blame George W. Bush.
Going further, Clinton said that, if elected, she would not only end war, but feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe
the naked, shelter the homeless, and save all mankind.
You have a clear choice. It is me or eternal damnation,Clinton said.
